PouchTaper — Privacy Policy

PouchTaper is a personal nicotine-pouch taper tracker. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: PouchTaper collects nothing about you. Your data never leaves your device.

No data collection. PouchTaper has no user accounts, no login, no servers of its own, and includes no analytics or third-party tracking software. We cannot see your taper plan, your logs, or anything else you enter — because none of it is ever sent anywhere.

What information the app stores

Everything you enter — your taper plan, your daily pouch logs, and your settings — is saved locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

What we collect

Nothing. Specifically, PouchTaper does not:

require or offer any account, email, or sign-in;
contain any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs;
ask for permission to track you across apps or websites (no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track);
access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or health data;
send your taper data, or any personal data, to any server or third-party service — including any third-party AI service.

Purchases

PouchTaper offers a single one-time in-app purchase (US$6.99) to unlock the full app. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Exporting your data

You can export your own pouch log as a CSV file at any time using the built-in export feature. That file is created on your device and shared only where you choose to send it (for example, to the Files app or an email you compose). We are not involved in and cannot see that export.

Children

PouchTaper is intended for adults managing their own nicotine-pouch use and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
